RUSH..The new face of the Republican Party?!

Well..I am glad Rush Limbaugh is feeling better after recovering from his personal problems and addiction but..we do not need anyone at this critical time..in our country's history, spreading negative ideas like wishing ill on Obama's policies. He is such a polarizing figure. His shock jock mentality makes for great radio banter but not for running a party. I think the Republicans are happy to shift the focus for a while now that Jindal made a fool of himself, sounding like an infomercial, after Obama's address. We need to join together now,despite our political affiliation and stop our partisanship ways if not for ourselves,our country! Many are really hurting,partly because they never saved for a rainy day, but then again, how many of us are guilty of the same thing? Many of us are living pay check to pay check. I know I am even if it is just a social security disability one.

I got goose bumps watching the inauguration of Obama as our president today! didn't you??! Especially looking at the throngs of people braving the cold to get a glimpse of history!



Yeh is all I can say! I was a bit disappointed tho by a couple of things like Aretha Franklin for one. She sounded awful and couldn't seem to hit the high notes. Obama's speech was a bit flat to me also. I also didn't like what Michelle was wearing. It looked dowdy,sorry! And the poem..well she aint no Maya Angelou is she?!

Oh! Don't forget to check out the moon tonight! I saw it last night and it was incredible! It was hanging low in the sky and was orangey looking! Why?! Well..Jupiter and venus are very close to each other and they are alligned with the moon right now to form a Crescent shape and the moon is crescent also. Apparently the planets are at their closest now. You will not witness this strange phenomenom, which is being blamed for effecting acorn production to the squirrel's detriment,come winter,for many more years so..you better get your tail,(excuse the pun), outside to view it,mighty quickly!

So Obama met with Hilary Clinton and now he met with McCain for advice but it is rumoured to be more to it like possible job appointments. They said he is reading up on Lincoln and Roosevelt and is adopting the philosophy of keeping his "enemies closer". I think this is pretty smart. What do you think?!

Also many are angry over this bailout business and now having to help the "Big 3" auto dealers too. Since many of us are dependent on the car companies for our jobs, I think it just makes sense for our people and our economy to help them. Again..what say you?!

Obama Wins!

Obama!! Now that's what I'm talking about....They say he is our first Black President but I say he is our first multi-cultural president as he is black,Hawaiian and part white as had a white mother. He does not view the USA as white black or bipartisan but the United STates! This intelligent,inspiring,creative,innovative outlook will get him far in these trying times and huge challenges facing him and his new administration but.. I think he will meet them head on and with grace, the same grace and class he exhibited thru his whole campagain unlike the attacks of his rival mcCain and the nasty Palin. Ugh! and good riddans is all I can say to her although it is said she has plans for bigger and better things so I think we will hear more of her and her hatefulness, unfortunately. I know I for one won't bring my dog anywhere near her for fear she'd think it's a wolf and shoot it! How about you? Are you happy Obama won too? Feel free to leave a post.
