Norline is literally killing us!

spam deleted. Thanks! 'here's to your health!' Norline is a company in Cohoes and a major polluter of our air and drinking water They have been cited and fined numerous times over the years. They even dump hazardous chemicals in the Mohawk river, our source for drinking water. Chemicals being emitted such as mercury, lead, acids, etc. can cause cancer. Have smelled it in air here. Officials have told public to close windows when Norline is blasting. Big deal.They also kill wild life such as fish and fowl. As usual, the city is looking the other way as Norline contributes financially by taxes, donating to PBA,etc. and hiring workers from area. What do you think of all this and what can we do to send Norline packing?

And now here's a question I want to pose to all environmentalists and green people. What is the best way to dispose of pet waste? I am including cat litter as well as dog feces in the mix here!

I throw the scoopable litter in a plastic bag and toss it in the dumpster daily. I do not pick up after my dog however; as I heard the landfills were full of doggie doo doo bags and they were not biodegradable! There is no law in my town as is rural, so I don't have to pick it up,altho I know it is gross to walk along and smell and see it! It does disintegrate eventually tho. But.. someone said it gets into the water supply so...what do I responsibly do?! Help! I would pick it up if I had to and lived in a city. I also would if there were bags that were biodegradable! Are there? Oh I know paper/?!

Bush is changing the Endangered Species Act

Besides a known fact that he doesn't care about the planet,ecology,environment..global warming due to emissions from smoke stacks and old cars which deplete the ozone layer. We already are seeing it's effects by melting glaciers in Antartica which is already killing 20% of the polar bear.

Threatened Species Status
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has proposed listing the polar bear as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act. U.S. Secretary of the Interior Dick Kempthorne announced the decision on December 27, 2006.


Bush supports the corporations polluting as it is their $ that got him in office.Now he plans to change the Endangered Species Act. What next the Constitution!? Yet we sit and say nothing out of fear of repercussions and rocking the boat. We would rather live in silence and not use our democratic right of freedom of speech which is not allowed in China and now agian in Russia. Yes they are getting powerful again under the Putin regime.

In his meglomania he will listen to noone about getting out of Iraq and now he has his eyes on Iran. He needs to save face and can't admit he made a mistake getting us involved there where they have been fighting for years. NOw we fight a people when not once did we have evidence of terrorists or arms being there. He has the know how to use otehr means of fuel but scientists who know how are being silenced.

I aplaud Rosie O'Donnell for speaking out yet many are attacking her. The fact taht she is over weight and a lesbian parent doesn't help. But I say God Bless her for being herself in a world full of clones who try to fit in rather than face their demons of child hood and live as adults now. We are not 5 ,16 anymore but we are adults. If we gathered and spoke out we would feel happier instead of depressed and we would feel like dwe are standing for waht we believe in rather than submitting and being oppressed by those who follow blindly. Yes we live in America but why follow a dictator?!
